Hello,
I see that you are doing the subantral balloon elevation through the osteotomy site. Can the same results be achieved by doing the elevation through the osteomoty as can be from a lateral wall approach? It would seem this conservative approach would benefit the patient post-operatively as well. Thanks!
Hi Sir:
Yes, you can use the balloon technique in Open Sinus Lift,too.
When the lateral wall of sinus removed, the balloon around the sinus membrane to elevate the sinus membrane later. It will help to elevate without metal curette.
